Organized by the International Business School Brasil, in partnership with UNIP (Universidade Paulista), the program Strategy & Marketing for Emerging Countries is an opportunity for students from all over the world to attend a 2 or 3-week certificate program, an immersion in the emerging countries context. IBS-Brasil is a school focused on coordinating and promoting educational programs in partnership with several Universities worldwide. UNIP is a modern private university, founded in 1988, and one of the 5 biggest Brazilian universities, composed by 27 campuses spread across the country and more than 240,000 students. 2014 Beijing International Summer Camp Students at YVR

From July 12 -21 over 850 students from around the world will come together in Beijing, China for the 2014 Beijing International Student Summer Camp. 45 BC High School Students are attending the camp as representatives of Canada and will make up the largest cohort from any country in attendance! The students will learn about Chinese culture and visit historical sites in and around Beijing while meeting peers from 24 different countries. The camp will culminate in a Night of International Friendship where students will watch cultural performances representing each of the attending countries and will have the opportunity to share Canada’s rich history with others.

BCCIE is working in partnership with the Taiwanese Youth Development Administration in Taiwan’s Ministry Of Education to send up to seven (7) BC post-secondary students to attend the Seminar on Youth Public Participation and International Humanitarianism in the Age of Globalization  in Taipei from October 17th-23rd, 2014

The selected students will represent Canada in a series of activities including:

  • In-depth seminar discussions

  • Experience-sharing in “world café” mode

  • Visits to a youth organization and a youth travel spot

  • Participation in Canada’s cultural performance to be performed at the Seminar Farewell dinner
