The BC Studies in China Alumni Network (BCSCAN) was established in 2016 as an initiative between the Chinese Consulate General in Vancouver and BC Council for International Education to help BC students understand the unique opportunities and the many benefits of pursuing post-secondary studies in China. Based on its success and growth of its members, in 2018 BCSCAN became the Studies in China Alumni Society of British Columbia (SCAS-BC) and officially incorporated under the BC Society Act.

I applied to exchange by myself with no friends from home. I thought this would be a way to push myself out from my current circle of friends, so I go out and meet others. This decision contributed to a significant part of my exchange and growth.

Otago Polytechnic in New Zealand is offering two transformative courses for college faculty!

These separate, but interrelated courses are taught over two weeks (June 22-July 3, 2020). This is a hands-on, experiential program that provides the tools to begin integrating these subjects into your teaching. The power of this experience is the connection between the two subjects.
