Program Highlights

The goal of this field school is to provide students with the opportunity to do community service internationally. You will have the opportunity to do community service with Teia dos Povos (Web of the Peoples), a network of Indigenous, Black, landless and working-class organizations. After a cultural tour of São Paulo, you will travel to Bahia, where you will spend a week at the Terra Vista Settlement. You will also visit Indigenous communities in southern Bahia, and visit historical sites in Porto Seguro. Through an interdisciplinary approach, this 6-credit course and field school gives you a hands-on experience on global community service and opens doors for you to initiate new paths in your life.
