Andorra , Europe Past Program Human Physical Performance and Recreation

Get certified to lead via ferrata by taking your certification training in Andorra – the country with the greatest concentration of via ferrata routes in the world. In addition to this eight-day course (includes a break day and an examination day), this field school will permit you to exercise skills gained in your adventure tourism / mountain skills / outdoor recreation program through a four-day, hut-to-hut, high-altitude trek around Andorra.

When: June 1 – 17, 2019 (inclusive of travel) 

Deadline to apply: February 1, 2019 (Early applications are encouraged. As space is limited, applications will be considered in the order that they are received.) 

Application procedure:

  • Submit an application form to Beth Martin (bmartin1@cotr.bc.ca), International Projects Officer
  • Submit a $500 deposit (Please note that deposits are non-refundable. The College reserves the right to cancel the program due to insufficient enrollment or other factors beyond its control. In case of program cancellation, the College will refund the $500 deposits)
  • Have an instructor who is familiar with you / your abilities submit a reference form to Beth Martin.
