The University of Tokyo Research Internship Program (UTRIP)

UTRIP is a 6-week summer internship program for students majoring in natural science and other relevant fields. It provides students with an opportunity to gain the experience of "real graduate-school life" or "research-centered life." UTRIP is a gateway to pursuing an advanced degree and experiencing academic life at the university. Participants will also be granted financial support to cover their costs and expenses. They will also get the opportunity to take part in cultural activities and excursions to learn more about Japan.

Thanks to BCCIE and the Beijing International Education Exchange (BIEE), 20 lucky secondary school students from across BC have arrived in Beijing, China, on July 14! The students are participating in the Beijing International Student Summer camp, which each year unites high school youth from over 20 countries for a 10-day "life-changing" exchange program in China's historical capital. Students are now experiencing a whole new different culture and enjoying arranged activities while intensifying their interpersonal skills and communication among Chinese and other overseas students.

Applications are now open for an internship position at the Canadian Chamber of Commerce (CanCham) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. If you are a Canadian graduate student or a recent graduate from a BC-based Master's program, you may be eligible to apply!

This is a one-year graduate internship with the CanCham, in partnership with BCCIE. This internship opportunity is a result of BCCIE and BC government activity and networking Vietnam.

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must meet all the following criteria:

  • be a professional under 50 years old
  • have an undergraduate degree (university degree or bachelor) in different disciplines
